Zamira Mendoza (She/Her) is an Artist, Facilitator & Community Organizer. 

She works as a Digital Fundraising Manager in higher education and has a background in arts administration, non-profit marketing and public library service.

Zamira serves as a Board Member on the Arts & Culture Commission for the City of Red Wing, Minnesota. Her ultimate goal is to steward transformative social change through arts, culture and education to build healthy, resilient communities.

Through a lens of equity and inclusion, she engages diverse perspectives in generative dialogue to develop and implement strategic community planning: aligning initiatives with organizational values and vision. 

In May of 2023, Zamira earned her Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurial Studies (BSc, ES) from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. As of August 2024, Zamira also earned her Master of Arts in Creative Leadership (MACL, CL) from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
