About
Zamira Mendoza (She/Her) is an Artist, Facilitator & Community Organizer.
She works as a Program Manager in the non-profit sector and has a background in arts administration, marketing and public libraries.
Zamira serves as the Chair of the Arts & Culture Commission for the City of Red Wing, Minnesota. Her ultimate goal is to steward transformative social change to build healthy, resilient communities.
Through a lens of equity and inclusion, she engages diverse perspectives in shared dialogue to develop and implement strategic planning: aligning initiatives with organizational values and vision.
In May of 2023, Zamira earned her Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurial Studies (BSc, ES) from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. As of August 2024, Zamira also earned her Master of Arts in Creative Leadership (MACL) from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
