Zamira Mendoza (she/her/ella) is an artist, community organizer and creative leader. She works as a Grants Specialist within the Prairie Island Indian Community and serves as a Board Member on the Arts & Culture Commission with the City of Red Wing, Minnesota. Zamira firmly believes that arts, culture and education can serve as powerful catalysts for transformative social change and build healthy, resilient communities. In May of 2023, Zamira graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Entrepreneurial Studies (BSc, ES) from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. In August 2024, Zamira also earned her Master of Arts in Creative Leadership Degree (MACL) from MCAD.
